Nissan releases more photos of the Urge

Nissan has released more photos of the Urge concept, officially dubbed a "design exercise." The three-seater is motorcycle-inspired, and viewers will be able to see through the vehicle's glass hood to view the small-displacement, high-revving engine, which is mated to a 6-speed manual transmission. Gadgets include MP3 player and cell phone docking stations (cell phones can also be used as an Intelligent Key to start the vehicle), as well as XBOX 360 integration. While the vehicle seems like it would be tons of fun, it's unlikely that it will be built.
More pics after the jump.

Sorry, I couldn't overcome the URGE to say something dumb. URGE is the word that comes to mind when you really gotta go...
Otherwise, nice toy from the folks at Nissan.

The first time I looked at that picture, I thought it looked somewhat like the 350z. And yeah, the car actually looks okay. I kind of like it.

Where does the motorcycle inspiration come from?

Not a very fluid design in terms of looks. Tack on some fenders, add a silver and yellow (..now where did yellow come from?), make the back end look blockey and Nissan calls it a design exercise. All I can say is keep on practicing Nissan.

at first I definately could see alot of the new upcoming skyline in the front end design. Its interesting to see Nissan focusing on the youth market and integrating more consumer technology into their cars. I'd ditch the xbox any day but the cellphone docking and cell"key" would be very interesting. This could definately become a "baby skyline" or even to bring back the infiniti G20 series. Nissan needs more sporty compact coupes, this would help...

Was interested at first, but I definitely like the 350z better. URGE has little style...which the 350z is in its purest form.
